Sleeping Beasts: AR Stealth
Effective Date: July 28, 2026 | Last Updated: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how PingSolve LLC (“PingSolve,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile application Sleeping Beasts: AR Stealth (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service.
Important Legal Notice
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and governed by our Terms of Service, which contain a binding individual arbitration provision and a class action waiver.
Binding Arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy, your privacy, or our handling of information shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Boise, Idaho, and not in a court of law.
Jury Trial & Class Action Waiver. You waive any right to a trial by jury and any right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. Any and all claims must be brought solely in your individual capacity.
The short version. Sleeping Beasts is built to need as little of your information as possible. Your microphone, your camera, and your motion sensors are read only on your own device, only while you are playing, and the data from them is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted to us or anyone else. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no email collection, no advertising, and no tracking. The only information that leaves your device is an anonymous purchase receipt and, if the App crashes, a technical crash report.
1. Information Processed Entirely On Your Device (Not Collected)
The following are fundamental to how the App works. They are processed in real time on your device and discarded immediately. They are never recorded to storage, never transmitted off your device, and never received by PingSolve or by any third party.
A. Microphone Audio
The core mechanic of the App is that a sleeping creature can “hear” you. To make that work, the App measures the ambient loudness level (decibels) of your environment while a game session is actively running.
- The App reads a numeric volume level only. It does not perform speech recognition, voice identification, transcription, or content analysis of any kind.
- No audio is ever recorded, buffered to disk, saved, retained, or transmitted. There is no audio file at any point.
- The microphone is activated only during active gameplay and is released as soon as you leave that screen.
- You may deny or revoke microphone permission at any time in iOS Settings. The App will continue to run.
B. Camera Imagery
The App uses augmented reality, which requires the camera to detect flat surfaces such as your floor so that a virtual creature can be drawn as if it were in your room.
- Camera frames are used solely to render the live augmented reality view on your screen and to allow Apple’s ARKit to detect surfaces.
- No photographs, video, or camera frames are recorded, saved, or transmitted except a still image you deliberately capture yourself (see Section 2).
- We do not perform facial recognition, biometric analysis, object identification, room mapping for retention, or any other analysis of your surroundings.
C. Motion & Device Sensors
Accelerometer and device-motion readings are used to detect sudden movement during gameplay. These values are evaluated in the moment and discarded. They are never recorded or transmitted.
2. Photographs You Choose to Save
The App includes an optional photo feature that lets you capture an image of a virtual creature in your environment.
- A photograph is created only when you deliberately tap the capture control.
- Photographs are written to your own device’s photo library, under your control.
- PingSolve never receives, uploads, accesses, stores, or transmits your photographs. We have no server that could receive them.
- If you choose to share a photograph using your device’s share sheet, that transmission is governed by the privacy policy of whatever application or service you share it to. We are not a party to it.
3. Information That Does Leave Your Device
A. Purchase Information
The App offers a single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Purchase processing is handled by Apple, and entitlement management is handled by our service provider RevenueCat, Inc.
- We receive an anonymous application user identifier generated by RevenueCat and a record of whether the purchase entitlement is active.
- This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, Apple Account, or any real-world identity. The App never calls any log-in or identification function, and there are no user accounts.
- We never receive your payment card number, billing address, or financial details. Those are handled entirely by Apple and are never disclosed to us.
B. Crash & Diagnostic Data
If the App crashes or encounters a serious error, a technical diagnostic report may be sent to our service provider Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) so that we can find and fix the defect.
- A report may include the device model, operating system version, App version, the technical stack trace of the failure, and non-personal breadcrumbs describing what part of the game was running.
- Crash reports never include audio, camera imagery, photographs, or the contents of your environment. Screenshot attachment is explicitly disabled in our configuration precisely because the camera view would show your home.
- Crash data is used solely to diagnose and repair defects. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
For the avoidance of doubt, the App does not collect, request, or receive any of the following:
| Category | Status |
|---|---|
| Name, email address, phone number, postal address | Not collected |
| Account credentials or passwords (there are no accounts) | Not collected |
| Payment card or financial information | Not collected |
| Precise or coarse geographic location / GPS | Not collected |
| Contacts, calendar, health, or fitness data | Not collected |
| Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or advertising data | Not collected — no advertising framework is present |
| Browsing history or search history | Not collected |
| Audio recordings, camera recordings, or your photographs | Not collected |
| Biometric or facial recognition data | Not collected |
5. How We Use Information
The limited information described in Section 3 is used only to:
- Deliver and restore the content you purchased;
- Verify purchase entitlement so paid content unlocks correctly;
- Diagnose, debug, and repair crashes and technical defects;
- Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the App; and
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to build advertising or marketing profiles.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose information for money or other valuable consideration. Limited information is processed by the following service providers strictly to operate the App:
| Provider | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Inc. | App distribution and payment processing | Purchase transactions, governed by Apple’s own privacy policy |
| RevenueCat, Inc. | Purchase entitlement management | Anonymous app user identifier, purchase receipt status |
| Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) | Crash and error diagnostics | Technical crash reports and device/OS metadata |
We may also disclose information where we believe in good faith that doing so is required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will apply to the transferred information.
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The App is a native mobile application. It does not use cookies, web beacons, pixels, SDK-based ad tracking, cross-app tracking, or fingerprinting. No App Tracking Transparency prompt is presented because no tracking occurs and no advertising identifier is requested.
8. Data Security Disclaimer
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information described above, including minimizing what is collected in the first place. However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect information, we cannot and do not warrant, guarantee, or represent the absolute security of any information, and you transmit and provide any information at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PingSolve LLC disclaims all liability for any unauthorized access to, disclosure of, alteration of, or loss of information, however caused.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is designed to be family-friendly in content. It contains no user accounts, no chat or messaging, no user-generated content sharing, no social features, no advertising, and no behavioral tracking.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 within the meaning of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is not enrolled in the Apple App Store Kids Category.
Parents and guardians are solely responsible for supervising any minor’s use of the App, including supervising the physical safety of a minor who is moving around a real-world environment while playing (see the safety warnings in our Terms of Service). If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@pingsolveai.com and we will delete it.
10. Augmented Reality Notice
The App is an augmented reality experience that encourages physical movement through your real environment. Although the App does not retain or transmit imagery of your surroundings, you are solely responsible for where and when you choose to use it, and for your own physical safety and that of anyone around you. You should only use the App in a space you have inspected, and you should be mindful of the privacy of other people, private property, and any location where photography or camera use is restricted or prohibited. See the safety and assumption-of-risk provisions of our Terms of Service, which govern.
11. Your Rights
Because the App collects no personal identifiers, no accounts, and no contact information, in most cases we hold no personal information about you that could be located, exported, corrected, or deleted.
Where applicable law grants you rights over personal information — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or similar laws — you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
To exercise any right, contact support@pingsolveai.com. We may need to ask for information to verify your request. Deleting the App from your device removes all local game data.
12. International Users & Data Transfers
PingSolve LLC operates in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, you understand and agree that any information described in Section 3 may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States or other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to such transfer and processing. You are responsible for compliance with any local laws applicable to your use of the App.
13. Third-Party Services Disclaimer
The App may link to or interoperate with third-party services, including Apple, RevenueCat, and Sentry, and with any application you choose to share a photograph to. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or conduct of any third party. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms and privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PingSolve LLC disclaims all liability arising from any third-party service.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and post the revised Policy at this URL. Your continued use of the App after a revision is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. You should review this page periodically.
