Hitline Terms of Service

1. Who provides Hitline
Hitline (also listed as Hitline: TouchBattle) is operated by PingSolve LLC, based in Idaho, United States. These terms govern the game and its community services. Contact support@pingsolveai.com with questions. Older TouchBattle versions have different gameplay; their existing support and legal pages remain available.
2. Eligibility and agreement
Hitline is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 where applicable local law requires that higher minimum. Do not use Hitline if you do not meet the applicable minimum. If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, your parent or guardian must agree to your use of Hitline. The App Store content rating does not replace these eligibility requirements.
By playing Hitline you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how data is used.
3. Playing and accounts
You can play as a guest or create an email/password account. Hitline lets players create note patterns, verify them by playing, publish levels, share codes, remix levels and race recorded runs. The Climb contains authored levels. Some features require an internet connection.
Protect your password and contact us about unauthorized access. Creating an account from a connected guest session preserves that guest identity. Signing into a different existing account switches identities. Local drafts and Climb progress stay on this device and are not a cloud backup. Uninstalling or clearing app storage can remove them. We cannot promise recovery of drafts that were never uploaded.
4. Your creations and permissions
You retain any rights you hold in your original level content. Publish only material you have permission to use, including names, credits and other text. Publishing grants PingSolve a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, display and distribute the content as needed to operate, moderate and promote that level within Hitline and its sharing features. You also permit other players to play and remix the published note pattern through Hitline's features. No ownership of your original work transfers to us.
Published names, creator names, note patterns, scores and replay records may be visible to other players. Unlisted means excluded from the public feed: anyone with its code can still access, share and remix the level. Do not publish confidential information. Remixes identify the original level where that reference remains available; they are separate creations. Editing a live level creates a new remix rather than silently changing the published challenge.
The editor records taps as a note pattern. It does not upload or distribute your music. Typing a song credit does not grant a music license. You remain responsible for any separate use of third-party music or artwork.
You may request removal through support or delete your account. Removal stops serving the original from our live catalog, but does not automatically erase separate remixes or copies already shared outside the service. Contact us about specific copies that infringe your rights.
5. Community rules and moderation
Do not publish illegal content, sexual exploitation, hate, harassment, threats, personal information about others without permission, infringement, spam or deliberately deceptive content. Do not cheat, abuse reports, bypass restrictions or interfere with the service. These rules cover display names, level names, song credits and other public content.
Use Report on a level, block a creator, or email support with the level code or relevant display name. Reports are reviewed; reporting does not automatically remove content. We may restrict visibility, remove content or suspend accounts according to severity, recurrence and applicable law. We may act immediately where needed for safety or legal obligations. Contact support to challenge a moderation decision or report an infringement; identify the content, your concern and a way to contact you. Filters and moderation can make mistakes and do not guarantee that all objectionable content is prevented.
6. Hitline Pro and advertising
Hitline Pro is a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase, not a subscription or virtual currency. The purchase screen shows the current localized price and included features before you buy. Existing supported TouchBattle premium ownership continues to unlock Pro; use Restore Purchases with the Apple account that owns it. No repurchase is required for the same supported product.
Pro removes banner and interstitial ads and unlocks the features described in the purchase screen. Free players may see Google AdMob ads between runs or on designated screens. Hitline requests restricted, non-personalized ads for every player. Our minimum-age requirements still apply.
Apple handles payment, purchase authorization and refunds under its rules and applicable law. Contact Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund. Deleting a Hitline account does not cancel or refund Apple's record of a non-consumable purchase. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
7. Availability and changes
We may update features for maintenance, safety or product development. Online services are not guaranteed to operate forever or without interruption. We will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes or planned discontinuation where practicable and required by law. Any change to a paid service remains subject to applicable consumer remedies; these terms do not remove statutory refund or other rights.
For material changes to these terms, we will provide notice in the app. The version shown above identifies the terms you are reading.
8. Our content and responsibility
PingSolve and its licensors retain their rights in the app, branding and original content. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app license where applicable; these terms cover the associated service and do not replace Apple's standard EULA.
Use reasonable care with your device, surroundings and hearing while playing. We take reasonable care in providing the service, but cannot guarantee that every device, network or player contribution will work without problems. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from personal use. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, gross negligence, personal injury or mandatory consumer protections. There is no compulsory arbitration clause in these terms.
9. Governing law and contact
Idaho law governs these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory rights and protections of your country of residence, including any right to bring claims in your local courts, continue to apply. Please contact us first if we can help resolve a concern; doing so is not a condition of exercising your legal rights.
